What to bring:
An apron.
Due to the nature of the workshop, please wear sensible shoes with covered toes and bring something to tie long hair back.
This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners but some previous experience with enamelling would be useful
You will learn to:
• Enamel on silver is different to enamelling on copper.
• Use both transparent and opaque enamels on the same piece.
• Fire your enamelled design.
• Bend silver wire to make ear wires.
• Use silver wire with beads and pearls.
• Use simple tools.
• Make holes in silver.
Meet the Tutor
Sally’s work is inspired by her early childhood in post war London and her current life in Stroud. She enjoys using jewellery making as a way for people to tell stories about themselves.
