Lindsey Mann

Anodised Aluminium Jewellery

10th & 11th September 2022

10.00am – 4.00pm

What to bring:

  • An apron.

  • A pencil and note/sketchbook.

  • A roll of kitchen paper.

  • A few pairs of vinyl gloves.

Although not essential, it would be helpful to gather some colour and pattern inspiration.

During this workshop, you will:

• Be introduced to a range of colouring and decorative techniques.

• Work with pre-anodised aluminium, focusing on the decorative colouring of the material.

• Be introduced to a host of colouring techniques, including dip-dyeing, direct application, printmaking techniques and the clever use of resists.

• Learn about cold-connections.

• Learn basic jewellery making techniques.

Projects will be tailored to suit the jewellery making experience of each individual.

You will come away from the workshop with a good set of samples, at least one completed piece of jewellery, and the confidence to continue exploring the subject alone.
