As heard on BBC Introducing, The Lost Notes are an award winning Folk/UK-Americana band from Moseley, Birmingham, renowned from for their energetic, joyous live shows with a sound that “Fits in amongst peers like Fleet Foxes, …Fairport Convention… Crosby Stills Nash and Young." (Rocking Magpie).  Their songs are rooted in “three-part vocal harmonies that would make even a Beach Boy sit up and take notice…” (At The Barrier).

After a year of festival performances including Shrewsbury Folk Festival, Off The Rails Festival and Costa Festival, Portugal, the band released their third studio album:  “GOOD LUCK SHOES”.  The album was selected as Editor’s Choice by the British Country Music Association and was album of the week on British Country Music Radio. “A brilliant 3-part harmony group; they sound even better live!" (CMR Nashville)

Maverick Country Music Magazine: “4/5 stars - Sublime…fearless and entertaining... wonderful.

Their songs range from the emotive to the light-hearted; covering the plight of bankers, greaseballs, snakes, Greco-Roman health and safety failings, mules, mermaids and the downright miserable.

Winners of FATEA Magazine “Band of the Year 2024 - The Lost Notes” Award

"A live show by The Lost Notes is something marvelous to behold. The band’s enjoyment of, and engagement in, what they’re doing is detectable in their every note, their every tone, their every beat, their every lyric. Some bands have the ability to take hold of a room, turn it upside-down and inside-out and send everyone on their way feeling revitalised and elated. The Lost Notes have that ability – if they’re playing near you anytime, don’t miss them!" At The Barrier [review of The Lost Notes’ sold out show at Birmingham Symphony Hall (Jennifer Blackwell Stage), 2025]

"The Lost Notes are, without doubt, one of the most exciting bands to have crashed on to the UK Folk scene in years. Superb three-part harmony, beautifully scripted songs, impressive professional musicianship, explosive stage presence and bags and bags of on-stages energy that radiates from them to you and anyone else who is lucky enough to be standing within 100 metres!"  Derry Jones, Woodman Folk Club
