An entertaining evening with these talented singers. On retirement, Jenny Lind and her husband purchased a house in Malvern at Wynds Point, British Camp and she lived there until her death in 1887 she is buried in Great Malvern Cemetery.
Her memory has been kept alive with the Jenny Lind Singers which were formed in the 1950s and the performance this evening is by their successors. In 2022 a memorial to her was erected in Rose Bank Gardens at the instigation of Peter Smith MBE.
