24th Sept 2020 – We’re Good To Go!
You’ll be pleased to know that we continue to operate as a COVID Secure venue, and have receive certification confirming the necessary processes in place to keep everyone safe. We have a QR code that (subject to the app working!) you can use upon entry. This will go alongside the pen & paper for patrons who don’t have a smart phone.
We ask that visitors adhere to the Covid-19 policy detailed as below when entering Elmslie House.
When we host exhibitions, we will be operating a maximum of 12 people at any one time within the Hall and request groups no larger than 6 enter. Masks will be required, as will filling in details for track and trace.
For regular classes being held at Elmslie House, please check with your tutors that these are still running and what will be required for you and the other attendees safety. When attending fitness classes, workshops or recitals and have any concerns, please contact the event organizer or tutor in the first instance.
We understand that these are unprecedented times and we would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have supported us in our venture thus far. As a small family business that has shared our home with the wider community, our house, for the first time in over five years is – eerily quiet.
Rest assured that the team at Elmslie will continue working behind the scenes to plan as best we can for events postponed to later in the year – or perhaps into 2021. And we might yet get around to doing that much needed re-decorating . . . We hope to shortly launch a blog to keep in touch and to support our Community as best we can in these times of social distancing – and we will continue to regularly post things onto our Facebook and Instagram pages too – so do stay connected!
In the meantime, stay safe and well, and we hope to re-open our doors to you just as soon as we safely can.
With the very best of wishes Anna, Bernard, Charlotte, Louise & Katie The Team at Elmslie House
