  1. Chris is a wonderful, sensitive and responsive pianist and composer – always putting together an eclectic and mesmerising program that will delight and relax you. Thoroughly recommended, what a way to spend a sunday afternoon – can’t wait!

    • Hi Paula

Thanks so much for that endorsement – we can’t wait either – not least because we took delivery of a Steinway Grand the day before yesterday, and Chris will be the first one to perform on it! Hope to see you then. Anna

  2. This is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Chris serves up an exciting cocktail of Classical favourites and jazz mixed with contemporary composers for extra spice. He takes the audience on an interesting journey and giving a new slant to the piano recital.

  3. What a treat for the good people of Malvern……Chris Long and Pianoscapes is an absolutely fabulous way to spend an afternoon. His choices of music are eclectic, relaxing and exciting and the ease with which he plays is, to me, inspiring – all in an hour or so. And to think there is a Steinway with his name on gives it an extra tick….my only sadness is that for this concert I am away.
I hope the launch at Elmslie is the success that Chris deserves and you all hurry along for his Malvern inauguration.

  4. Chris Long is an extremely talented, entertaining and versatile pianist who really makes the instrument sing. As a regular listener, I feel that his Pianoscapes bring the best of piano music together in innovative and expressive ways – on the several times I have attended I have been blown way by the variety and professionalism of the programme, whilst also enjoying its warm, informal and friendly atmosphere. Truly the perfect way to hear piano music, played by an open and welcoming professional. I look forward to enjoying Pianoscapes at Elmslie immensely!

  5. Sunday afternoons with Chris and his eclectic musical mix are special and highly recommended. He takes us on a journey through popular, obscure, challenging and beautiful works which, in combination with coffee and cake, enable one to both forget our travails and recharge the soul.

  6. Chris always puts together a fascinating, diverse and intriguing programme of music – always inspiring, sometimes challenging, and always thoroughly enjoyable. There are few better ways to spend a Sunday afternoon than listening to a live and carefully crafted musical performance.

  7. My husband and I recently went to one of Chris Long’s Pianoscapes. My husband had not been before but I recommended that this was an afternoon that he should experience and he was totally amazed at the wonderful touch and musicality and sheer genius of the playing. We shall definitely be going together to another afternoon of sublime music in Pershore.
