present: A Laurel & Hardy and Buster Keaton double-bill on Sunday 19 May at 2.00pm.
The Harcourt Players are Simon Othen and Luke Wurmli, and together they write musical scores for classic silent movies from the early 1900s.
For their return to Elmslie, they are bringing with them Laurel & Hardy in Sailors Beware, which will be sandwiched in-between two Buster Keaton romps.
With the audience focused on the films, The Harcourt Players weave their way through these hilarious classics highlighting the ups and downs, chases and falling in love scenes, using an array of instruments such as guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, harmonicas and a variety of percussion.
So come and enjoy an evening with two of the silent movie era’s greats and laugh your socks off (banana peel’s not included!).
Tickets are £10.00 each for Adults and £5.00 for Children, and available through https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-harcourt-players-a-laurel-hardy-vs-buster-keaton-double-bill-tickets-56190575524
